Account Director
Summary of Position
Our client is a leading international communication agency in Cambodia. They are looking for an Account Director who will be in charge of handling one of the world’s leading and most respected portfolio of brands. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: day to day dealings with clients at senior and junior levels across the full gamut of through the line activities ranging from strategy to creative, media, digital and activation. Living the client’s business and brands
- Strategic: this role is a strategic role. It requires the ability to write and develop strategy for the portfolio of brands. Thus, working successfully with research agencies and our head of planning is crucial
- Planning: ensure that all brand plans is embrace the brand objectives, in ways which are powerful and creative
- Creative: must assist and sell the development and creation of outstanding and effective creative ideas
- Managing work: ensure that each communication plan is meeting deadline to avoid any delay that might cause business opportunity (for client as well as agency)
- Supervision of team: managing work load of each staff under your supervision to ensure a good turn over on plans and activities
- Initiative ideas: create a culture of initiating new ideas for each brand. Thinking outside of the box and beyond the brief
- Team development: coaching, training, and developing team to perform jobs faster and more effectively
- Revenue generation: keep track on of revenue targets of all the assigned accounts. Ensure we charge client fairly and smartly. Looking for opportunity to improve revenue from the assigned accounts – by proposing new ideas, tracking plans, proposing good and creative proposals for execution

Head of Account Management
Other Requirements
- Significant experience in advertising (more than 5 years);
- Excellent level of English (reading, writing, speaking);
- Must have relevant FMCG experience, and preferably on beverages. Non-alcoholic beverage experience would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
