Assistant Marketing Manager

Summary of Position

Our client is a social enterprise in Cambodia. They are seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager who will oversee marketing activities such as planning, increasing brand awareness, digital marketing, and public relations. He/she will be based in Siem Reap.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maximize the visibility and public awareness of the business
  • Define and implement marketing strategy with the Director of Sales & Marketing
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager to align planning and actions
  • Assure adherence to brand image and guidelines
  • Supervise the design & production of all print and electronic marketing material, from conception to distribution, including (but not limited to):
  1. marketing collateral
  2. advertising
  3. website
  4. social media
  5. photos and video
  6. blogs and news media
  • Manage marketing material requests from all departments and control traffic
  • Manage public relations: supervise or delegate press relationships and participate in local PR and community engagement events.
  • Manage community engagement programs
  • Increase direct sales through effective messaging on marketing material
  • Supervise direct reports including (but not limited to):
  1. Graphics Designer
  2. Administrative Assistant
  3. E-commerce
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managers.

Reporting to

  • Director of Sales and Marketing

Other Requirements

  • Ability to lead a team of people and to collaborate with other managers
  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience
  • Familiarity with graphics design tools such as Photoshop
  • Experience with social media marketing (Google My Business, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and related tools like Hootsuite and Iconosquare
