Business Development Manager
Summary of Position
Our client is a newly established logistic company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to oversee the entire sales operations in Cambodia. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain cool storage space rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases
- Establish rental rate by surveying local rental rates and calculating costs, other depreciation and profit goals
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives inassigned clients
- Develop and manage relationships with targeted clients and their business leaders
- Maintain existing accounts engagement through partnership with the Operational/Delivery teams
- Provide regular engagement for retention
- Maintain a sales forecasting capability which will, in the short-term, make possible efficient scheduling, provide superior customer service, and control costs and in the long-term, provide information for business planning, resource planning and budgeting
- Keep well informed on industry changes, participates, where possible, in organizations directly involved with our prime markets, and continuously works to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
- Attend customer business reviews and sales presentations with customers and operational delivery teams
- Analyze and provide objective, in-depth understanding of customers, competitors and product performance to improve sales performance
- Provide leadership, business planning and the provision of high-level contract and relationship management to the client
Reporting to
General Manager
Other Requirements
- Experience in sales and/or business development within the Information Technology industry, experience working at a certified body preferred
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in cool storage provider or related business
- Minimum 5 years of solutions sales experience
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
