Contract Officer
Summary of Position
Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Contract Officer who will safeguard the company's interests in all aspects of contracts management. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support all departments in all contractual and legal matters as necessary, liaise on all aspects of contractual matters and sub-contractors
- Review contracts and general terms and conditions, advise on risks, and propose acceptable commercial positions
- Work with the Contract Manager, work closely with other departments (construction, technical, financial department, QHSE department…)
- Proactively support compliance to company’s ethics and compliance requirements through adherence to company policies, processes and practices
- Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management
- Have an accurate and up to date working knowledge of contract language and structure
- Liaise with managers and engineers to ensure contracts accurately reflect the program of work
- Prepare reports, analyses, risk assessment and other documents which may be required by the Contract Manager

Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law or relevant fields
- Having 2-5 years’ experience in construction industry
- Good understanding of contract laws, good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail, willingness to learn and cooperative and has team spirit
- Good English is a must. French is a plus
