Head of Marketing and Sales

Summary of Position

Our client is a newly established university in Cambodia. They are looking for a Head of Marketing and Sales who will be responsible in assessing and creating the university’s marketing & sales plan & strategy, and then planning, coordinating and directing marketing efforts to brand awareness and positioning. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.
  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team by using key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools.
  • Manage and implement the sales forecasting, planning and buyer driven sales and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales and marketing organization.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demand
  • Complete sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintain staff and interns by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. As well as counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Work with the Academic Affairs or others faculties, Account Management and Operations, teams to implement targeted sales strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with the promotion agencies or partnerships and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement.
  • Compiling lists that describe the University's offerings and identifying the University's potential customers..

  • Director of Athletics and Student Activities

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Has a successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns with excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing with proficiency with content management systems, and design software.
  • Ability to identify and solve students’ issues strategically and manage multiple projects and work on tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with desire to grow professionally with ongoing education.
