Head of Performance and Rewards
Summary of Position
Our client is an insurance company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Head of Performance and Rewards who will design performance management strategy and total rewards philosophy to attract and retain talent for effectiveness of company growth. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefit
- Ensure on payroll calculation & payment, bonus plan, retention program, and overall compensation package deliveries to all the company employees on monthly basis
- Manage the whole headcounts in the company such as planning, controlling and monitoring respectively to each function and departments
- Ensure on market benchmark on compensation and benefit packages of new joiners
- Conduct studies of compensation practices and market rates, analyzing internal and external pay equities, making recommendations for specific changes and/or general adjustments
- Execute policies and correct compensation and benefits related budget and control the cost within the budget
Performance & Rewards Management
- Manage the development of a collaborative high performance by supporting in setting clear work objectives, assessing performance by KPI, providing feedback and development
- Manage complex workplace people issues including grievances, performance improvement, conduct other investigations, disciplinary matters to build a harmonious and productive working environment
- Manage the development and implementation of merit and promotion, increasing programs linked to performance and developing and monitoring annual salary increment budget
- Work closely with key persons in the company to identify potential key roles or jobs to determine the need of successors and identify current incumbents in key positions
- Review and monitor periodically the progress of companywide succession planning program, and highlights program adjustment, where and when needed
- Lead, grow and inspire team of performance and reward team to achieve overall performance

- Chief Human Resource Officer
Other Requirements
- At least bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in human resource management functions especially in compensation and benefit and/or performance management
- Ability to see big picture and able to execute at scale
- Ability to understand, analyze business and develop strategies by leveraging data
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Result-oriented, analytical, inspiring
