Investment Manager
Summary of Position
Our client is a real estate and property development company in Cambodia. They are looking for an Investment Manager who will be in charge of managing overall company’s investment portfolio, reviews investment strategy, seeks out new opportunities, and recommends changes in investments to manage risk and generate acceptable rate of return. S/He will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and leads the company’s diverse real estate portfolio and initiatives
- Prepare budget, financial analysis and forecast
- Prepare financial modelling, layering in various capital, and promote structures for new investment opportunities
- Perform risk assessment and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budget and give recommendation to top management
- Identify the investment, joint -venture and/or partnership opportunities
- Plan and execute market research activities, including investment and divestment opportunities and their accompanied risks, global market development, and macroeconomic trends
- lead day-to-day activities to do due diligence of any land acquisition opportunities and coordinate & evaluate due diligence results
- Be the day-to-day liaison for the collection and interpretation of large amounts of proprietary and public information, including active information from real-estate brokers, agents, development managers, and the sales staff
- Prepare the investment memos and presentations for Senior Management and stakeholders
- Respond to ad hoc requests of Senior Management members and prepare high-quality and timely responses to ad-hoc investor questions
- Perform other tasks required by the top management
Reporting to
- Chief Executive Officer (CEO)and Chairwoman
Other Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related fields
- 5 years of real estate, private equity, or investment banking experience
- Sound knowledge and experience in finance and accounting
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience in preparing budget plan and investment analysis
- Strong understanding of relevant ethical and legal practices
- Ability to work with executives to determine the best investment path
- Outstanding negotiation, communication and presentation skills
