Logistic Officer
Summary of Position
Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Logistic Officer who will be responsible for general purchasing and coordination with shipping agencies and customers for import/export process with all local and foreign customs privileges. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Smoothen the procurement process and supply at minimum cost within the procurement policies and procedures
- Ensure shipping documentation meets import and export regulations
- Track and ensure on time delivery of material or shipment base on schedule
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers for cost effective of purchasing package in terms of quality, price, service and term delivery etc
- Problem solving between suppliers and users
- Monitor and coordinate deliveries of goods from suppliers to ensure that all goods are delivered on-time
- Actively participate in team meetings by request and be proactively involved in the decision-making processes
- Ensure efficient delegation of activities amongst team; ensuring each member has clear understanding and shared expectations about output and outcomes of duties.
- Ensures that all company policies and procedures comply with procedures, and requirements
- Maintains current knowledge of local government requirements related to procurement matters and ensures compliance with tax regulations and other legal requirements, including audits and reporting

- Procurement Manager
Other Requirements
- Degree in relevant field (business administration, finance, logistics, or similar)
- Recommended a minimum of three years’ experience in an international companies or similar environment
- Knowledge of computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Able to written and spoken English skills, knowledge of French would be an asset
- Proven ability to work well with diverse staff at all levels
- Willingness to travel is essential
- Self-initiative, people oriented and strong leadership skill
- Integrity and good coordination skills
- Cost/ Result driven with the initiative thinking
- Good planning & organizing skills
- Effective Negotiation skills is preferable
- Good negotiation, and Problem solving
- Knowledge of principles and procedures of service sourcing
- Cost analysis skill
