Mechanical Engineering

Summary of Position

NVC Corporation Co., Ltd., is a leading food and beverages company in Cambodia, also known as Vital Premium Water. We are looking for Mechanical Engineering. The Mechanical Engineering will perform mechanical works required for installation and daily R&M of equipment, systems, and facilities, to ensure efficient, safe and proper operations in production plant.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and monitoring daily running of mechanical, electrical equipment including motor, pumps, fans, air compressors, blowing machine, filling machine, air conveyor and other factory supplied tools
  • Assemble, install, replace, modify, inspect, adjust, and perform planned maintenance on and repair all types of mechanical systems and equipment throughout the plant
  • Inspect and check the equipment running to determine the schedule of maintenance independently, perform preventive maintenance, repairing on lubrication, pneumatic devices, plumbing, heating, refrigeration, air-conditioning, low-voltage electrical systems, and other machines
  • Perform routine repairs on simple control circuitry, bearing, chain, sprocket, motor belts and belting, and other moving parts shown wearing or scratching surfaces of equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and regular maintenance of equipment as scheduled
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations, equipment breakdowns, troubleshoots, and mechanical problems
  • Complete work record sheet by recording operating settings, machine readings from meters, gauges, counters and monitoring devices, and compile R&M history of equipment
  • Ensure air compressors are regularly maintained, properly running supplying high quality compressed air, and optimal operating with quality output of blow molding machine
  • Maintain an awareness of equipment operation, especially excessive heat, vibration, and noise. Report the malfunctions, hazards or wear and tear to R&M Supervisor
  • Review schedule with production and assist with changeover part, and perform schedule maintenance during long downtime
  • Study operation manuals, and investigate failure from troubleshooting
  • Comply with established policies and procedures, maintains a clean and safe work environment, commit to work in a quality and safety manner
  • Other job will be assigned from time to time

Other Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2 years experiences in mechanic with manufacturing line maintenance
  • Ability to understand circuit diagrams, blueprints and schematic diagrams
  • Ability to work any shift is essential to interface with technicians
  • Abilities to work under pressure, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP in a manufacturing environment
  • Having basic electrical abilities
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
