Payroll Supervisor
Summary of Position
Our client is an International School in Cambodia. They are looking for a Payroll Supervisor who will be in charge of preparing payroll for the school staff. She/he will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor on contract / main power before registering in to system
Record new staff in payroll system
Open bank account for new staff
Drop/sent application form to bank
Email remind to HR Department for print out staff attendance bi-week
Bi-week calculate and issue salary
Keep update leave for staff apply in payroll system
Semester pay health insurance to staff who have their own insurance
Keep tracking staffs insurance with Forte and Manulife
Arrange and calculate tax on salary
Keep update tax break documentation (Dependant and spouse)
Filing monthly Salary tax declaration to Tax Department
Semester report annual leave to staff for comparison with HR department
Responsible for all tasks related to NSSF
Prepare salary payment in cash for staff who yet open the bank account
Arrange payroll slip for staff who require the hard copy
Monthly reconcile staff advance account and prepaid staff insurance
Do adjustment Visa, Insurance, Medical, PD, Re-location allowance, child’s tuition fee for staff, and other deductions.
Keep update actual monthly salary in worksheet as BoD required
Monthly bookkeeping costing (journal entry cost classification by grade level)
Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
Reporting: Payroll and Headcount reports Actual Vs budget, Turn-over etc.
Other duties as assigned by management

Other Requirements
Possess an educational background in Accounting, Finance and Banking, or any related field.
Have experience in accounting and payroll tasks for at least 5 years.
Native speaker of Khmer language and good at writing and speaking English.
An enthusiastic and positive work attitude as well as high level of cultural sensitivity and empathy are further characteristics of Accounting.
Honesty, transparency and accountability.
