Senior HR & Payroll Officer
Summary of Position
Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Senior HR & Payroll Officer who will manage the HR organization on the project, collect information for HR processing at the HO and distribute information and correct HR practices. He/she will be based in Sihanouk Ville.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all timesheet and presence statements are processed efficiently
- Collect, calculate, and enter data in order to maintain and update payroll information
- Resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures
- Be the representative of the HR dpt. on site
- Implement effective onboarding plans
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor
Reporting to
- HR & Payroll Manager
Other Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management or related fields
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in HR in the construction industry
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Good in Microsoft Office
- Good communication in English and inter personal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong Autonomy
