Senior Manager – Business Development and Operations

Summary of Position

Our client is a leading gas and petroleum company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Senior Manager – Business Development and Operations who will be responsible in developing, executing and monitoring the overall sales & marketing strategies, business development and operations of all their marts of their company. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Driving company’s directionand business plan. Ensuring that all budgets and KPI are well achieved.
  • Setting up new store and renovation; maintaining store standard with policy andprocedures. Sourcing local and imported product around the world. Monitoring alloperation income and expense; leading margin and other incomes within thebudget.
  • Negotiating with all cost to get more benefit; working and developing suppliers onProduct/Promotion/Activity; purchasing process (PRO/PO).
  • This hand-on role also encompasses budgeting, cost control, cash on hand, profit/ loss and other day-to-day duties and ensure team deadlines are met.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Commercial Department andRetail operation department
  • Manage on stock standard, stock replenishment, goods display, price, service, andmaintain store capacity
  • Define, Implement and execute the business development / growth strategist foreach store
  • Oversee all transactions related to back-office system, receivables, paid out, bankdeposit and cash short/over
  • Improved operations process to better identify and track finance profitability andminimize risks
  • Hire, train and manage a team of buyer and replenishment to help grow andmanage portfolio of merchant
  • Supervised suppliers/OEM/Factory on trade plan and activity plan
  • High disciplinary on the product loss/unknown loss and conduct on investigationprocess, included the product return
  • Audited all performance report that base on back-office system. Provided actionplan after the report are mismatch
  • Provided the discrepancy report for supplier, consignment and franchise
  • Ensured price are competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of core itemswithin the category
  • Developed online merchandising and promotion to achieve sale target
  • Carry out analysis & survey to better understand customer requirement andbehavior
  • Provide recommendations to top management and contributed to enhancingproductivity and efficiency
  • Deal with government, auditors and external agencies for all responsible areas and with distribution center & supply chain, commercial, and marketing
  • Provide Daily, Weekly and monthly management report. (Sale, Margin, Other income, Stock inventory, return to vender report, known loss and unknown loss report)

  • Chief of Business and Marketing

Other Requirements

  • BA in Business administration or relate
  • With at least 5-10 years’ experience in Retail Operation and work with global company.
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically. Skill in Oracle/ SAP/Quick book and inventory control.
