Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Temporary Works Inspector who will be responsible for maintains to control efficiently the entire Temporary Works installation. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• To conduct site inspection and ensure quality output based on approved plans and specifications
• Checking on site, with the checking list that the Construction Team has assembled and/or built in accordance with the drawing related to Temporary Works (drawings, load, phases, test).
• If during inspection, discrepancy was detected between the drawings and erection, acceptance will not be given until corrective action is carried out.
• In case of major discrepancy, should inform and warn designer of the temporary work to find and suggest on solution.
• Reporting in writing on process using the appropriate forms
• Be able to properly assess and control risks associated with Temporary Works
• Appreciate the key stages of typical Temporary Works, how things could go wrong, and how to manage amendments/change
• Become aware of typical hold points, inspections and permits which might be needed
• To ensure the understanding and application of all responsibilities with regard to the Company’s Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
• Deal with Temporary Works modifications and Check installation and erection
• Follow all safety measures and precautions in the field.  Safety devices and procedures should be properly followed and implemented
• Impose a strong corrective measure to contractors and subcontractors

• Technical Manager

• Civil Engineering Degree (Bachelor or Master degree) Ideally Structural Engineering degree
• Must have 4 years of experience in the Civil Work/Temporary Works/ Marine Works
• Strong Technical knowledge and communication skill
• Good in English is a must, French is a plus
