Warehouse Officer

Summary of Position

Unisun Development Corp: currently, we are looking for a candidate in the position Warehouse Officer. The Warehouse Officer will provide technical support to warehousing operations, ensures the safe reception, storage, distribution and reporting of movements within the warehouse. Works closely with the Logistics Coordinator & is involved in the planning of stock movements, has financial responsibility for daily operational needs (petty cash) including payment of daily workers, purchases of consumables & other related operational costs. Ensures standard warehousing documents are filled in correctly and handed over in a timely manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspect & Report for damage or discrepancies, while receiving & retrieving stock
  • Ensure adequate record keeping & manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels
  • To guide, supervise & allocate warehouse worker as per the requirement
  • To ensure material dispatches are regularly communicated or updated to the Customer Service team
  • Should be comfortable to work outside, if required
  • To keep a clean & safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Follow quality service standards & comply with procedures and rules
  • Supervise loading and unloading operations
  • Check and verify materials in warehouse periodically
  • Maintain records of equipment, materials and products
  • A Warehouse officer directs and instructs the team members to ensure that the stocks are shelved and the inventory is being properly transferred.
  • A warehouse Officer ensures that the productivity targets are met. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that the labor management system is being properly managed and handled.
  • Coordinate all site purchase requirements
  • Clarify specifications, quantities
  • Liaise with procurement Department to identify supplier
  • Identify works order, purchase order
  • Identify delivery time (required by site/promised by supplier)
  • Prepare requisitions
  • Ensure sign and approval from General/Site Superintendent/SM/PM/OM/PD first
  • Verify good received noted, check physically on materials received in good condition
  • Chase late supplies, materials arrived and inform the GS/SS
  • Follow standard procurement procedures
  • Allocate cost codes correctly
  • Ensure official transfer note of materials to other site
  • Take delivery of materials/supplies
  • Check quality
  • Check quantity/specification
  • Check breakages physically
  • Sign delivery notes
  • Maintain well-organized secure stores
  • Issue store materials to Foreman only, not workers

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Warehouse activities

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

English and Khmer

Other Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Warehouse activities
  • Bachelor’s degree required Preferred to be in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Operations, and Supply Chain
  • Strong organizational & interpersonal ability
  • Experience in Warehouse activities in a Perfume/Cosmetics/ pharmaceutical industry will be preferred
  • Well organized approach to tasks
  • Numerical and analytical ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Hindi are mandatory
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good level of computer skills MS Office/Stock Management System
  • Knowledge of ERP is mandatory and experience in JD Edward will be preferred
  • Good level computer skills Microsoft/stock management system
