One of an international company is seeking for a Compliance officer who will be in charge of company registration, provide support on contract interpretation and enforcement and develop contract template and checklist. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• To assist in administering and coordinating the compliance activities
• To ensure that the businesses are conducted in compliance with policies and procedures, local laws and regulations
• To assist in giving consultation on legal and compliance issues to the business associates in relation to their roles and responsibilities
• To assist in providing legal advice and supporting legal issue
• Handling company secretarial work
• Handling company registration work with direct selling related government authorities i.e. the Office of Consumer Protection Board, the Office of Food and Drug Administration, the Office of Consumer Protection Police
• Handling ad hoc assignments
• Providing support on contract interpretation and enforcement i.e. commercial claims and guidance on performance of contracts
• Developing, improving and launching contract templates, check lists and other tools

• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Experience 2-3 years in the direct sale or other related industries is a plus
• Good understanding of consumer protection and direct sale laws is a plus
• Good in written and spoken English and other language is a plus
