Our client is a leading international communication agency in Cambodia. They are looking for a Media Planner who will be in charge of creating master plans & TV/Radio/Print media communications plans. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Media Planning and Strategy:

• All client face to face regular interactions and teams support
• Overall: Rationale, Strategy, Ideas, Budgeting, Approvals, Monitoring, Reporting and Invoicing
• Create/update masterplans & TV/Radio/Print media communications plans
• Maintain close relationship with digital teams to grow understanding and sale capabilities of this touchpoint
• Co-ordinate circulation of digital reports with that of traditional media – one point of contact only for clients
• Monthly distribution of each client’s masterplan with comments and outlining any potential changes or pitfalls
• Liaise with Strategy head and strategy planner to get hands on the projects and understanding the frameworks
• Work with media buying teams for new proposals, costing and reports

Reporting & maintenance:

• Monthly / weekly status updates with Group Media Director or Group Media Head
• Monthly/Quarterly reviews on all required clients with data made available by the MI team
• Strict monitoring and reporting of all client KPIs and advise for betterment if not achievable
• Work with finance teams for timely invoicing and assistance for payments recovery when required
• Should be able to build up superior relationship with local and expat clients

Supervising:

• Oversee team training– advise not correct errors – check masterplans but train planner to make changes themselves
• Up sell additional opportunities in order to increase media spends
• Retention and best assistance of all clients assigned
• Deadlines are met

Group Media Director or Group Media Head

• BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field
• 3 to 5 years of working experience in advertising industry or relevant roles
• Organized, motivated, detail oriented, passionate and open minded
• Acting as number 2 in the media team
• Hungry to learn and transforming the learning into solid output
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good command in English
